1}The Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God.

2 Timothy 3:15-17 KJV And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

2 Peter 1:21 KJV For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

2} There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Genesis 1:1 KJV In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth

Deuteronomy 6:4 KJV Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:

John 10:30 KJV I and my Father are one.

3} (a) In the deity of Christ

John 1:1 KJV "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

John 1:14 KJV "And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."

(b) His virgin birth

Isaiah 7:14; KJV Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Matthew 1:23 KJV Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

(c) in His sinless life

Hebrews 4:15 KJV For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin

Hebrews 7:26 KJV For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

(d) In His vicarious and atoning death

1 Corinthians 15:3 KJV For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

Ephesians 1:7; KJV In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace

(e) In His resurrection

John 11:25; KJV Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

1 Corinthians 15:4 KJV And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

(f) In His ascension to the right hand of the Father

Mark 16:19 KJV So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God

(g) In His personal return to earth in power and glory.

Acts 1:11; KJV Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

4} That all are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ, and that only by God's grace, through faith alone, are we saved.

John 3:16; KJV For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Ephesians 2:8-10 KJV For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them

Titus 3:5 KJV Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

5} (a) In Scriptural Baptism of the BELIEVER

Baptism is an IMMERSION. A person who has been baptized is a person who has been immersed in something, because that's what the word means. We believe that A person is baptized by the Holy Ghost the very moment they receive Christ as Lord and Saviour (I Cor. 12:13). This particular baptism is a SPIRITUAL baptism, and it should never be confused with WATER baptism (although it usually is). This spiritual baptism can be found in I Corinthians 12:13, Ephesians 4:5, Romans 6:3-4, and Galatians 3:27. It is not a water baptism, for water baptism places no one into the body of Christ. A person is saved by grace through faith (Eph. 2:8-9). Paul said that Christ sent him not to baptize, but to preach the gospel in I Corinthians 1:17, and "the gospel" does NOT include water baptism (I Cor. 15:1-4).

(b) That Water baptism is essential to obedience, for it pictures the death, the burial, and the resurrection of Christ. I Peter 3:21 tells us that it is a "figure." Obedient Christians will submit to water baptism, but they should never confuse it with their salvation. Remember, the repentant thief was saved WITHOUT being baptized in water (Luke. 23:42-43), and the eunuch of Acts chapter eight wasn't permitted to be baptized until he first BELIEVED on Christ {Acts 8:37-38} .

6} In the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. {also see #13}

1 Corinthians 12:12-13; KJV For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Galatians 3:26-28 KJV For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

7} In the eternal security of the believer

John 10:28-29 KJV And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.

Romans 8:38-39KJV For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

8} In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are not unto the resurrection of damnation.

John 5:28-29 KJV Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 5:29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

9} In the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

1 Corinthians 3:16 KJV Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

Ephesians 4:30 KJV And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Ephesians 5:18 KJV And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

10} In Christian Growth- It is our desire to know Jesus Christ and to be conformed to His image, likeness, and example by the power of the Holy Spirit. We encourage this by abiding in Jesus Christ through His Word, prayer, fellowship, and by yielding our lives to the Holy Spirit.

John 4:23 KJV But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

Colossians 3:16 KJV Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

11} That the Word of God is to be taken literally. Rightly divided, with the full counsel taken into it's intended context.

2 Timothy 2:15 KJV Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Acts 20:27 KJV For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God

Revelations 22: 18 KJV For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

12} That the scripture is clear as to the role each gender plays in life. That all are created equally both male and female. However it is not Biblical for a woman to usurp authority over a man in any ministry. We do believe that God has poured His spirit out upon all flesh and does use women in Ministering to children and other women.

2 Timothy 2:12 KJV But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

13} That unity at the expense of sound doctrine is to be rejected as unscriptural, and that we, as true born again believers in Christ Jesus are to stand firm on and for the Word of God.

"Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord." 2Corinthians 6:14-17

"Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them." Romans 16:17

We do not believe...

In anything other than salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone.

Nor do we support any groups pertaining to wicca, new age, goddess worship, or salvation by works.

We also DO NOT believe that Mary was anything other than greatly used of God, and do not support any belief in her being co-mediatrix with Christ or able in any other way to intercede for the saints, all believers.

Welcome to BAC

Joomla In August of 2003 an MSN web group was created called Born Again Christians. As numbers rapidly rose it became apparent that there was a need for a website that would reach a wider number of people.

Our goal, by God’s grace, is to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind and to demonstrate that love by obeying His Word.

Our passion is the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the teaching of the Word of God verse by verse with expository sermons.
